Le Haute, Inc. was founded by Cecily Witcher. A graduate of the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York, Cecily has worked in the fashion industry as a designer and merchandiser for prominent handbag companies.

Le Haute, Inc is an eco-friendly company that specializes in design and product supply of reusable bags. We work with a diverse range of clients that include non-profit organizations and also event planners, helping them build brand exposure while also contributing to the cause of environmentalism (and practicality for the consumer).

Le Haute Bags, Inc holds to very high standards.  We have partnered with a manufacturer with over 20 years expertise.

Le Haute Bags, Inc was formed because of Cecily’s passion for bags and concerns about our mother Earth:

While on a recent oceanside vacation, travelers were observed using plastic bags that hotels supply for soiled laundry being used as impromptu beach bags.  Some of these ended up ripped and discarded, adding to litter on the beach, and, ultimately, the ocean environment. Many people don’t remember to bring a separate beach bag, or deliberately choose not to do so in order to travel light and avoid the new baggage fees being imposed by the airlines.  Others choose not to use their expensive bags for a day in the sand and sun.  Lightweight and compact, Le Haute eco-bags can be easily carried for a day of sightseeing,  to collect souvenir purchases or groceries, or for an extra carry bag to take to the airport at the last minute.  All these are instances where your brand/logo will be seen to excellent advantage.

Le Haute Bags, Inc. was born from an epiphany Cecily had upon her return from that beach vacation; i.e., to combine a flair for fashion and handbags, environmental concerns and wiser consumer choices that benefit the Earth.

These bags are urban, re-usable, practical, fun and fashionable.  One can almost forget that they are designed to fill many purposes, including providing a low-cost alternative to plastic bags while furthering brand-marketing.

Re-usable bags replace, on average 300-500 plastic bags per year.  Many cities are imposing taxes on plastic one-use bags, thereby “incentivizing” people to purchase and use re-usable bags. London, for example, is aiming for 100% no-plastic policy in time for the Olympics in 2012. Fashion and design-conscious people will happily use their bags over and over again if they are smartly designed and practical – even more so if they received them as a “gift that keeps on giving” from a gracious host/hotel.
